Elizabeth Mawer died peacefully after a short illness on the 10th of September at the Regency House Nursing home in Cardiff aged 78. There was a Requiem Mass at St Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Church, Chapel Road, Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex on Monday the 25th of September followed by a cremation. The Cremation was followed by a party at the Royal Burnham Yacht Club. Elizabeths ashes will be scattered on the river Crouch at some future date.
